Westlake Fire Department Hosts 5th Annual Winterfest with Snow, Santa, and Holiday Cheer
The Westlake Fire Department is once again lighting up the holiday season with its highly anticipated 5th Annual Winterfest, a free community celebration full of festive fun, giving, and joyful gathering. The family-friendly event is set to take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Westlake Fire Department, located at 19636 Saums Road in Houston.
This year’s Winterfest is more than just a neighborhood event—it’s a holiday tradition that brings families together from across the Westlake and Bear Creek areas to ring in the season with cheer, connection, and community spirit.
Festive Fun and Holiday Magic
The festivities begin at 5 p.m. with the opening of the Holiday Vendor Market—an ideal spot to pick up last-minute holiday gifts, discover local artisans, and enjoy festive shopping close to home. At 6 p.m., the celebration kicks into high gear with an array of magical activities, including:
- Real snow sledding hill
- Pictures with Santa (arrives at 7 p.m.)
- S’mores around an open fire
- Steaming cups of hot cocoa
- Holiday music and fun for all ages
Whether it’s your little one’s first photo with Santa, a thrilling ride down the snow hill, or cozying up by the fire with neighbors, Winterfest offers something special for every member of the family.

Give Back Through the Annual Toy Drive
In the spirit of giving, the Westlake Fire Department encourages each child attending to bring a new, unwrapped toy to contribute to its annual toy drive. These donations help bring holiday joy to local children in need, spreading warmth and hope throughout the community.
