Westgate Crime Watch

Westgate neighbors stay informed about what is happening in our area. All residents can help by following our safety tips:
- Introduce yourself to your neighbors.
- Participate in HOA meetings, block parties and other events.
- Be alert.
- Report all suspicious activities. Call the Sheriff’s department at 713-221-6000. Be sure to call 911 if it is a crime in progress or an emergency.
- If crime happens near or to you, AFTER you have called the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), please let Crime Watch know it was reported so we can follow through on the report. Email crimewatch@westgatetx.net
- Get a home alarm system. Make sure it’s monitored and make sure you get a permit.
- Volunteer to serve on the Crime Watch Committee. Email crimewatch@westgatetx.net
- Take advantage of the programs offered by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. Programs of interest include Child Safety, Home Inspections, and Vacation Watch.
- Take your community concerns e.g. commercial vehicles, speed limits, etc. to the Harris County Community Assistance Department.
LAW ENFORCEMENT
- Westgate Subdivision falls within District 4 of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
