Who We Are: A Legacy of Local News for Champions Park
Our story began in 1979, when the family behind Krenek Printing started publishing printed subdivision newsletters for neighborhoods in the West Houston area. Over the decades, their reach expanded to serve more than 100 neighborhoods across Katy, Cypress, Fulshear, and West Houston. As the needs of communities evolved, so did our mission—and in 2021, we launched My Neighborhood News as a digital platform to continue that legacy in a more sustainable and interactive way.
Today, we serve thousands of residents with weekly neighborhood e-newsletters, custom online websites, and daily web content. Our articles cover neighborhood updates, local events, community spotlights, wellness tips, and civic engagement resources—all aimed at helping readers feel informed and proud of where they live.
My Neighborhood News is 100% ad-supported by local businesses, which means you get free access to high-quality local content while helping strengthen your community’s economy. When you support our advertisers, you’re also supporting this platform—and, in turn, your neighbors.
