Weinberg's Rosehill Farms Carries on Family Traditions
Just north of Grand Parkway off Cypress Rosehill Road in Tomball, Weinberg’s Rosehill Farms continues to carry on family traditions that go back nearly 130 years.
Established in 1865, this family-owned and operated farm produces and sells fresh produce throughout the year. Sixth generation owner, Bud Weinberg, operates the farm with his family, all of whom work different roles on the farm and in the farm store. Although their produce was once sold to local grocers, Weinberg's has pivoted their focus to selling high quality produce to local residents at fair prices, with special events throughout the year.
This fall, Weinberg's will welcome back their annual Uncle Bud's Pumpkin Patch, where families will have the opportunity to select pumpkins of various types, sizes and colors to purchase and take home, hayrides, fall produce, farmers market, photo opportunities and more. The Weinberg family plans to have squash, cucumbers, and tomatoes available in their store this fall season.
In March, Weinberg's offers a pick-your-own opportunity during strawberry season. Customers are invited to take a bucket into their strawberry patch to pick their own strawberries, which also makes for a fun afternoon with the kids along with adorable photo opportunities.
The store is open Mondays to Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and on Sundays from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. To learn more about Weinberg's, visit their Facebook page at facebook.com/Weinbergsrosehillfarm.
