On Friday, October 20, Dr. Ken Gregorski, Superintendent of Schools for Katy ISD, will present the 2023 Katy ISD State of the District address from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Under the theme of 'Inspiring Excellence,' Dr. Ken Gregorski will proudly announce that Katy ISD has been recognized once again as the #1 School District in the Greater Houston area by Niche. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the dedicated efforts of Katy ISD students, teachers, and staff, as well as the unwavering support from our community members. It underscores how, through collaboration, the district continuously elevates the standard of educational excellence and transforms ‘Learners into Leaders.’ Dr. Gregorski will also address important topics concerning the district's future, including school funding, legislative priorities, teacher retention, district growth, and the upcoming 2023 Bond.
