VFW Post 9182 to Host Inaugural Warrior Run at No Label Brewing Co. Benefiting Veterans
This fall, The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 9182 based in Katy is taking steps in a different direction - quite literally. The organization announced that they will host their inaugural Warrior Run on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at No Label Brewing Co. in the heart of Katy.
VFW Post 9182 is a non-profit organization that was chartered on June 19, 1947. With a longstanding record of service and stewardship, the post actively participates in numerous community service projects and activities, demonstrating their commitment to honoring, supporting, and remembering veterans who have served in the nation's foreign conflicts.
The inaugural Warrior Run offers several participation categories: a 5k and 10k run, a 5k and 10k ruck, and a 1-mile walk. All these can be done either in person or virtually. Each participant will receive a chip-timed race, Warrior Run finisher medal, and a unisex t-shirt with registration fees ranging from $25 to $55.

Once the race is concluded, participants and spectators can shop at veteran-owned businesses, and engage in various activities designed for the whole family. The proceeds from the event will go towards preserving and strengthening programs for deserving veterans, along with supporting earned benefits, healthcare, and veterans rights.
