Cy-Fair Educational Foundation to Honor 2022 Scholarship Recipients

On Tuesday, August 2, 2022, the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation (CFEF) will welcome our endowment donors, foundation partners, event sponsors and past recipients at our Scholarship Reception honoring our 2022 scholarship recipients and their families at The Berry Center.
The Foundation awarded over $845,000 to 2021-2022 Cypress-Fairbanks ISD (CFISD) graduating seniors across all 12 CFISD high schools and the Leonard Brautigam Center. Beginning in December, students filled out the CFEF Scholarship application online. Those applications were reviewed by Foundation trustees in April and scholarships were awarded across the district. In April, the scholarship application opened again for CFISD graduating seniors planning to attend Lone Star College. They are awarded Edwin C. Schroeder Endowment scholarships in the amount of $2,000.

The Cy-Fair Educational Foundation is empowering today’s students – tomorrow’s leaders through higher education. CFEF was established in 1970 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization to provide scholarships for Cypress-Fairbanks ISD graduating seniors. Contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by the law.
