Rennie Park: A Favorite Gathering Place in Nottingham Country

Officially named Nottingham Country Park, many longtime residents know the space simply as Rennie Park, named after the street where it is located at 821 Rennie Drive in Katy.

The park has long served as a community hub where families gather, children play, and neighbors connect. Amenities include:

  • Playground equipment for children of all ages
  • A walking trail popular with residents
  • A volleyball court and soccer field
  • Two covered pavilions available for community use

The pavilions can be reserved by Nottingham Country homeowners at no cost, making them a convenient and affordable option for hosting small events and celebrations close to home.

How to Reserve a Pavilion at Rennie Park

According to the updated agreement, homeowners wishing to reserve a pavilion must complete a reservation form and verify that their requested date and time are available.

The reservation process includes:

  • Calling 281-537-0957 to confirm pavilion availability.
  • Completing the Pavilion Reservation Agreement form.
  • Submitting the form through the resident portal at home.inframark.com, emailing it to jward2@inframark.com, or mailing it to Inframark in Katy.

Once the completed form is received, the reservation will be confirmed.

Important Pavilion Use Guidelines for Residents

The updated Pavilion Reservation Agreement also outlines several guidelines designed to keep Rennie Park clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.

Among the key requirements:

  • The person reserving the pavilion must be a Nottingham Country homeowner at least 21 years old and remain at the event.
  • HOA assessments must be current in order to reserve the space.
  • Pavilion use is limited to resident and neighborhood social functions, and business activities for profit are not permitted.
  • The reserving homeowner is responsible for setup, cleanup, and removing all trash and food from the park after the event.
  • Decorations must not damage the pavilion or surrounding surfaces.
  • Inflatables such as bounce houses or moonwalks are not allowed.
  • Residents are also asked to ensure vehicles are parked responsibly so that emergency access remains clear.

These guidelines help ensure that the park remains a clean, safe gathering place for everyone in the Nottingham Country community.

A Great Time to Start Planning Spring and Summer Events

With warmer weather on the way, the updated pavilion agreement arrives at the perfect time for residents planning outdoor events. Rennie Park’s shaded pavilions provide a convenient space for spring birthday parties, graduation celebrations, end-of-school gatherings, and family reunions.

Because pavilion reservations are first-come, first-served, homeowners planning an event in the coming months may want to check availability early.
