Upcoming Spring ISD Board of Trustees Meetings
The Spring Independent School District Board of Trustees will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8 at the Gordon M. Anderson Leadership Center, located at 16717 Ella Blvd. To reduce the risks associated with COVID-19 and to ensure public access, the meeting will also be streamed via Zoom.
The agenda includes a review of items that will be presented to the board for approval at the regular board meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, also to be held in person and streamed via Zoom.
Presentations of note on Thursday include the 2022-23 Campus Improvement Plans, a 2022 Bond Update, and the Harris County Disparity Study Fund Program.
The board is also slated to consider adopting the order to cancel the 2022 Spring ISD Trustee Election and approving the proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Good Reason Houston and Spring ISD.
Other topics on the agenda include the approval of the anticipated collection rate for Spring ISD; the ratification of the 2022 Appraisal Roll Certification; consideration of awarding a contract for Fire Extinguishers and Ansul Hood Inspections, Service & Supplies to the providers recommended by the Administration; a review of the report of cooperative purchases exceeding $50,000; and taxpayer refunds.
