Tony C’s Pizza & Beer Garden Coming to Tomball in 2026 at The Grand at 249

November 17 2025

Big news is cooking in Tomball: Tony C’s Pizza & Beer Garden — the Austin-based eatery beloved for its coal-fired New York-style pizza and Italian-American favorites — is expanding to Harris County. According to official permit filings, construction is scheduled to begin in February 2026 at The Grand at 249, with doors expected to open by late August.

Located at 25553 State Highway 249, Tony C’s will transform a 5,685-square-foot space in the bustling retail center into a vibrant pizza-and-beer hub. The $750,000 renovation will reflect Tony C’s signature blend of casual hospitality, delicious comfort food, and a relaxed beer garden atmosphere that invites guests to stay a while.

A Menu That Brings People Together

Tony C’s serves more than just pizza — it’s a full Italian-American experience. Their coal-fired pizzas are crafted with hand-stretched dough, premium ingredients, and crave-worthy flavor combinations. Signature pies include:

  • Truffle Shuffle with four cheeses, mushrooms, and a touch of truffle oil
  • Prosciutto & Goat Cheese, topped with arugula and roasted garlic
  • The Donato, loaded with Italian sausage, coal-fired peppers, and fresh mozzarella
  • Vegetarian options with sautéed spinach, zucchini, ricotta, and mushrooms
  • Carnivore, for the meat lovers, stacked with salami, pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, and spicy Calabrian peppers

Guests can also build their own pizza with a wide selection of toppings including roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, pepperoncini, anchovies, and more. Gluten-free crust is available on 12-inch pies.

Beyond pizza, the menu offers housemade lasagna, toasted ravioli, pepperoni rolls, meatball subs, chicken parmesan sandwiches, and classic appetizers like fried calamari, mozzarella sticks, and garlic knots. For lighter fare, salads like the Italian Chopped and Caesar are popular choices, and family-sized portions make it easy to feed a crowd.

A Taste of Austin with East Coast Roots

Tony C’s is part of the Tc4 & Co. Hospitality group, helmed by Creed Ford IV and third-generation restaurateur Tony Ciola. The concept honors Ciola’s Italian-American heritage and pays tribute to Red Sox legend Tony Conigliaro — blending New England charm with Texas hospitality.

This will be the brand’s first location in the Northwest Houston region, joining existing restaurants in Kyle, Round Rock, and Austin.

A Welcome Addition to Tomball’s Dining Scene

With The Grand at 249 continuing to grow as a dining and retail destination, Tony C’s is poised to become a new favorite for locals craving authentic Italian-American comfort food and a laid-back place to unwind. Whether stopping in for a slice and a pint or sitting down with family for lasagna and wine, Tomball residents will soon have a new go-to spot for pizza nights and weekend hangouts.

Stay tuned as construction gets underway in early 2026 — and get ready to raise a slice (and a pint) with Tony C’s by the end of next summer.
