Tomball Parkway H-E-B Plans $20 Million Expansion and Remodel
The H-E-B at Tomball Parkway and Graham has a $20 million expansion and remodel in the planning stages, with construction scheduled to begin March 1, 2027. The project would update the existing grocery store at 28520 Tomball Parkway, a shopping stop for households along the Highway 249 corridor.
What the Project Filing Shows
Registered September 23 with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the privately funded project covers a remodel and expansion of H-E-B Store No. 574. The filing lists an anticipated completion date of April 28, 2028, and identifies pb2 architecture + engineering as the design firm.
The registered project area is 96,237 square feet. That figure should not be read as the amount of space being added; the filing does not break out the expansion from the existing store area.
The budget and dates are project estimates. The registration does not identify new departments or describe how construction would affect shopping access.
An Established Grocery Stop
The Tomball location already offers curbside pickup and home delivery, along with a pharmacy, fuel station and car wash. Its pharmacy services include a drive-through, compounding and immunizations.
Current store hours are 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Shoppers can find department hours and service details on the official store page. The state project registration provides the planned construction schedule.
