Tip A Cop Returns to Cypress: Support Special Olympics Texas at Texas Roadhouse July 24
Local heroes will be trading badges for aprons on Thursday, July 24, 2025, as Texas Roadhouse on FM 1960 hosts “Tip A Cop”, a unique dinner event where law enforcement officers serve meals to raise funds for Special Olympics Texas.
The event, taking place at 13345 Farm to Market 1960 Rd W, Houston, TX 77065, offers families, friends, and neighbors in the Cypress and Cy-Fair communities an opportunity to give back while enjoying a delicious meal. Every tip collected by officers that evening will support life-changing athletic programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities — many of whom call Cy-Fair home.
In partnership with Special Olympics Texas and the Law Enforcement Torch Run®, the Tip A Cop campaign is rooted in service, awareness, and inclusion. It’s a night that goes beyond fundraising — it’s a celebration of community connection and empowerment.
The Cypress event will spotlight Special Olympics athletes as honored guests, many of whom have trained and competed in local and statewide competitions thanks to community support. Funds raised will help provide year-round sports training, health services, and leadership development for these inspiring individuals.
