Light the Towne Holiday Celebration at The Boardwalk Towne Lake

Get ready, Cypress — the holiday season officially begins with Light the Towne at The Boardwalk at Towne Lake on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. This beloved community tradition brings sparkle, music, and memories to families across Northwest Houston, with a dazzling 40-foot tree lighting, live performances, snow, and a visit from Santa himself.

Festivities Kick Off at 6:00 PM

Start the night with performances from Anthony Middle School Choir, a live DJ, and the always-electric School of Rock Cypress. Holiday tunes will fill the air while kids enjoy face painting, letters to Santa, and snow that magically transforms The Boardwalk into a winter wonderland.

Santa Arrives at 6:45 PM

Families won’t want to miss Santa’s grand entrance just before 7:00 PM, followed by opportunities for festive photo ops in a giant snow globe, at the Houston Methodist photo backdrop, and with cheerful stilt walkers and elves roaming the scene.

Free Hot Chocolate & Family Fun

Warm up with complimentary hot chocolate from Kilwins Cypress and First Watch (while supplies last). Then check out sponsored stations from Lone Star College, The Nest Schools, Cy-Fair Music and Arts, APS Building Services, and Renewal by Andersen offering giveaways and interactive activities for all ages.

Light-up holiday gear and festive trucker hats will also be available for purchase on site to light up your evening in style!
