Three Dental Practices Bring New Care Options to Spring-Klein’s Growing FM 2920 Corridor

Northwest Houston
September 10 2026

Spring and Klein residents will soon have several more choices when it is time for a cleaning, an unexpected toothache or more specialized dental work.

Three dental practices have either recently opened or are preparing to welcome patients along the FM 2920 corridor: The Tooth Lodge, Smile Theory and Swish Dental. Although each office has its own approach, their arrival together reflects a broader expansion of healthcare services in this growing part of Northwest Houston.

The locations stretch from Kuykendahl Road west toward Stuebner Airline Road, placing additional dental services closer to families across Spring, Klein and the surrounding neighborhoods. For residents, that could mean shorter drives, more appointment options and greater choice when looking for a practice that fits their family’s needs, insurance coverage or preferred approach to care.

The Tooth Lodge Brings Locally Led Dental Care to FM 2920

The Tooth Lodge opened July 6 at 6820 FM 2920, Suite 190, near Stuebner Airline Road.

The practice is led by Dr. Afreen Ansari, a Houston native with experience in comprehensive, surgical and cosmetic dentistry. Its services range from routine family dental care to clear aligners, restorative dentistry, implant restoration, dentures, wisdom-teeth extraction and same-day care for dental emergencies.

The office also uses digital scanning, three-dimensional printing, CBCT imaging and laser technology for treatment planning and certain procedures. Its family dentistry services are available to patients of different ages, making the practice an option for households hoping to keep routine care in one location.

For residents without dental insurance, The Tooth Lodge offers an in-house membership plan that includes preventive services and savings on additional treatment. The practice is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Smile Theory Adds a Woman-Owned, Bilingual Practice in Spring

Smile Theory is preparing to hold its grand opening Sunday, Sept. 13, before beginning patient appointments Monday, Sept. 14.

Located at 18480 Kuykendahl Road, the woman-owned dental practice will have a bilingual staff serving patients in English and Spanish. That bilingual access may be particularly helpful for families who feel more comfortable discussing treatment, costs and follow-up care in their preferred language.

The practice will offer general dental services, including examinations and cleanings, from its location near the intersection of Kuykendahl Road and FM 2920.

Swish Dental Opens Sept. 14 Near FM 2920 and Kuykendahl Road

Swish Dental is also scheduled to begin seeing patients Sept. 14 at 5402 FM 2920, Suite 5.

The Spring office will offer preventive, restorative and cosmetic dentistry along with teeth whitening, Invisalign clear aligners, tooth extractions and care for dental emergencies. The practice says it can treat patients of different ages, although children who need complex procedures may be referred to a pediatric specialist.

Swish Dental accepts many major insurance plans and offers memberships and financing options for patients who do not have coverage or need help managing treatment costs.

Regular office hours are expected to run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. The office will be closed Saturdays and Sundays.

Why More Neighborhood Healthcare Options Matter

The arrival of three practices within the same general corridor is notable because dental care is rarely a one-size-fits-all service.

One household may be searching for a dentist who can see parents and children in the same office. Another may need emergency care close to home. Others may prioritize bilingual service, advanced technology, cosmetic treatments, insurance participation or payment options for patients without dental coverage.

Having additional practices nearby gives Spring and Klein residents more opportunities to compare those factors without traveling far outside their community. It may also make it easier for families to find appointment times that work around school, work and other responsibilities.

The openings are also part of a familiar pattern along FM 2920. As the Spring-Klein area continues to grow, medical offices, dental practices and other neighborhood services are following the rooftops and commercial development spreading along the corridor.

For local families, that growth is measured not only in new buildings but also in the practical services available close to home. A nearby dentist may not generate the same attention as a major restaurant or retail opening, but it can become an important part of a family’s long-term healthcare routine.

Residents considering any of the new practices should contact the office directly to confirm appointment availability, insurance participation and the services offered at the Spring location.
