The Salty Set to Bring Unique Donut and Coffee Concept to LaCenterra in Katy
The Salty, a popular donut and coffee shop known for its creative flavors and community-driven atmosphere, is expanding to the Greater Houston area with a new location at LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch in Katy. The store will be located at 23501 Cinco Ranch Boulevard in Katy, with interior renovations slated to begin in January 2025 and wrap up in mid-April 2025.
Founded in 2014 by Amanda Pizarro and Andy Rodriguez, The Salty started as a pop-up operation from a 1950s vintage camper in Wynwood, Florida. After more than a year of serving their innovative donuts and coffee to locals, the duo opened their first retail location, and the brand quickly expanded across the nation. Today, The Salty has locations in cities such as Austin, Dallas, and several others across the country, with Katy becoming its first location in the Greater Houston area.

The Salty has gained a loyal following for its artful, made-from-scratch donuts and coffee that push the boundaries of traditional offerings.
