Texas Roadhouse Brand Jaggers Brings American Classics to Katy
A new fast-casual eatery is preparing to make its mark in the Katy area. Introducing Jaggers, a homegrown American food concept, was created by the same mind behind the beloved Texas Roadhouse, Kent Taylor. Jaggers will be opening in Katy in 2025, following the successful opening of a Bubba's 33 this past June, another brand owned by Texas Roadhouse.
The first Jaggers restaurant opened in 2014 in Noblesville, Indiana. Since then, the brand has gradually rolled out approximately 10 locations across Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Texas, with the Katy restaurant set to be the second in the state following an earlier opening in Longview in November of 2023. The Katy location will be located in Grand Morton Town Center at Grand Parkway and Morton Road.
Jaggers is known for its relaxed, friendly atmosphere alongside a commitment to making a notable impact within its local communities, much like parent company Texas Roadhouse. The menu includes classic American comforts, featuring a range of burgers burgers, chicken sandwiches, tender chicken strips, fresh salads, and hearty sides like golden shoestring fries and creamy mac 'n cheese.

Food enthusiasts will be intrigued by the specialty burger options, which include the Sunrise Burger that layers a fried egg and ham, as well as the Black Bean Burger featuring a black bean and quinoa patty, American cheese, fresh avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion, capped with the signature Jaggers sauce.
To end the meal on a sweet note, Jaggers' menu extends to crave-worthy hand-spun milkshakes in flavors like chocolate chip cookie and banana split, along with homemade baked goods ranging from classic chocolate chip cookies to decadent brownies.
According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), the construction of Jaggers in Katy is scheduled to commence in early November, with completion expected by mid-March 2025.
The Jaggers brand continues to extend its roots throughout the United States, committing to deliver quality food served by friendly people, exactly as its founder, Kent Taylor, envisioned.
