Texan Tea to Open Second Drive-Thru Location in New Braunfels by Fall 2026
Texan Tea, a beloved hometown favorite known for its specialty iced teas and heartfelt local roots, is stirring up excitement in New Braunfels once again—this time with a second location. Scheduled to open at 2286 Alyssa Way, the new Texan Tea #2 is currently under construction and expected to be complete by September 25, 2026.
The new site, located in Comal County, will feature a first-generation interior finish-out tailored for a 1,145-square-foot beverage shop, with a projected cost of $150,000. Like its original location on 580 S Business IH 35, the new drive-thru aims to offer the same high standard of customer service and refreshing handcrafted beverages that have made Texan Tea a local sensation.
Brewed in New Braunfels, Rooted in Community
Texan Tea isn’t just another iced tea stand—it’s a family-run business with deep ties to New Braunfels schools, neighborhoods, and traditions. Founded in 2020 by a local mom and lifelong tea lover, the company has become a staple for residents looking for high-quality tea on the go.
“Once a NB Unicorn myself, I’m now raising two more in this amazing community we call home,” the founder shared. “Running Texan Tea is truly a family affair. You might see us mowing grass around the store, delivering tea to schools or events, or even see our kids popping up at the window.”
This hometown pride spills into every cup. Whether you're a fan of bold Sweet Mint, smooth Unsweet Peach, or just a classic Sweet Regular tea, Texan Tea offers a refreshing lineup of both sweetened and unsweetened iced tea flavors. The menu also includes lemonade (with a sugar-free option), pure water, and bagged ice—making it a convenient hydration station for the whole family.

What's Brewing at the New Location?
Texan Tea #2 is expected to bring the same customer-first culture and quick drive-thru convenience to the growing neighborhoods near Alyssa Way. With the population of New Braunfels continuing to rise, the timing couldn’t be better.
The company’s expansion reflects the area's thriving small business scene and growing demand for locally-owned, quality-driven options in the beverage space. For families on the move, parents on school drop-off duty, or just locals in need of a midday refresher, Texan Tea aims to make a splash once again.
Sip, Support, Repeat
In addition to fueling locals with flavorful drinks, Texan Tea also gives back to the community—frequently partnering with schools and local events. Gift cards are available, and a rewards program is offered to loyal customers looking to earn points toward free drinks.
For now, the original Texan Tea location remains open and busy serving New Braunfels residents at 580 S Business IH 35. Locals eager to check out the full menu—or sign up for free tea rewards—can swing by or follow Texan Tea online for updates.
As New Braunfels continues to grow, Texan Tea's expansion is a flavorful reminder of the power of local pride, community connection, and of course, a really great cup (or gallon) of tea.
