Sydney Harbour Residents See More Than 600 Service Calls in Latest Cypress Hill MUD #1 Constable Report

The latest monthly patrol report for Cypress Hill Municipal Utility District No. 1 provides a snapshot of how Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office deputies are responding to calls and monitoring activity throughout the community.
According to the April 2026 contract report from Harris County Constable Precinct 4, deputies assigned to Cypress Hills M.U.D. #1 handled 603 “other calls” during the month, along with dozens of additional calls involving suspicious activity, alarms, disturbances and theft-related incidents.
The report, issued under Constable Mark Herman’s office, reflects the continued law enforcement presence serving neighborhoods within Cypress Hill MUD No. 1, including Sydney Harbour and surrounding areas within the district.
Suspicious Activity and Alarm Calls Among Most Frequent Reports
The April report shows deputies responded to 17 alarm calls, 11 suspicious person calls and five suspicious vehicle reports during the month. Deputies also documented 12 “theft other” incidents, four family disturbance calls and four additional disturbance-related calls.
The report listed one assault case, two criminal mischief incidents and three phone harassment calls. No robberies, vehicle burglaries, habitation burglaries or vehicle thefts were reported during the reporting period.

Deputies Logged More Than 8,500 Miles Patrolling the District

According to the district statistics, deputies logged a combined 8,558 patrol miles and worked 151 total days across assigned units. Deputies handled 273 contract calls, initiated 158 deputy calls and issued 266 tickets during the reporting period.
The report additionally noted two felony arrests, four misdemeanor arrests and nine charges filed during the month.
