Support Local Girl Scouts and Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth at Copper Village Community Pool

February 12 2025

Starting this Saturday, February 15, and running every Saturday through March 22, 2025, you can indulge in the sweet tradition of Girl Scout cookies, all while supporting local young entrepreneurs!

Local Girl Scouts from the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council (GSSJC) will be at the Copper Village Community Pool, located at 16375 West Rd, Houston, TX 77095, every Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM throughout the cookie season, making it easier than ever to stock up on your favorite cookies.

Cookie Lineup and Pricing

This year's collection includes beloved classics such as Thin Mints®, Caramel deLites®, Peanut Butter Patties®, and the soon-to-be-retired Toast-Yay!® cookie. Also featured are other fan favorites like Adventurefuls®, Lemonades®, Trefoils®, and Peanut Butter Sandwiches. Each box is priced at $6, with the gluten-free Caramel Chocolate Chipavailable exclusively online. Be sure to check out the detailed nutritional information on order cards or at abcbakers.com.

A Sweet Tradition with a Greater Purpose

The Girl Scout Cookie Program isn't just about satisfying your cravings; it's about empowering the next generation of leaders. “Launching into a new Girl Scout cookie season is like opening a door to endless possibilities for our girls and their troops,” said Mary Vitek, CEO of GSSJC.

Since its creation in 1917, the Girl Scout Cookie Program has grown into the world's largest girl-led business initiative. The program helps girls learn invaluable life skills like goal setting, decision-making, money management, and business ethics. Proceeds from cookie sales benefit local troop activities, maintain camp properties, and provide financial aid to underserved communities, ensuring that every girl can have access to these life-changing programs.

Why Buy Girl Scout Cookies?

When you buy Girl Scout cookies, you're not only satisfying your sweet tooth, but you're also supporting personal growth and development for the young entrepreneurs behind the booth. Your purchase helps these girls develop the confidence and skills needed to succeed in life and business.

Key Dates to Remember

  • February 14: Cookie booths officially open to the public.

Mark your calendars, gather your family and friends, and stop by the Copper Village Community Pool this weekend and every Saturday through March 22 to get your hands on the cookies you love while supporting local Girl Scouts. Don’t forget to try the limited-edition Toast-Yay!® before it’s gone!
