Support Local FFA Students at Cy-Fair ISD's 31st Annual Livestock Show & Sale Launching January 30
The 31st annual CFISD Livestock Show & Sale is gearing up for its highly anticipated return, with a packed schedule of events beginning Thursday, January 30, 2025. Held at the CFISD Exhibit Center located at 11206 Telge Road in Cypress, this event provides a platform for FFA (Future Farmers of America) students to showcase their dedication and hard work, while raising funds for their agricultural programs. Last year, the event raised over $680,000, making it a pivotal fundraiser for the local youth.
The CFISD Livestock Show & Sale is a three-day event, with a variety of competitions and activities lined up. On the first day, January 30, attendees can expect a range of shows, including horticulture, agricultural mechanics, rabbits, lambs, and cattle. The following day, Friday, January 31, the schedule includes poultry, goats, and swine judging events. The third and final day, Saturday, February 1, will feature the Freezer Sale, a Buyer’s Luncheon, a silent auction, and the much-anticipated Premium Sale/Live Auction in the arena.

A notable part of the livestock sale includes the processing of the meat by a local butcher, which is then distributed to local nonprofits such as Cy-Fair Helping Hands, Cypress Assistance Ministries, and the Boys and Girls Club. This ensures that the benefits of the event extend beyond the show floor, helping those in need in the Cy-Fair community.
