Spring ISD Class of 2023 Receives Nearly $95 Million in Scholarships and Grants
The Spring Independent School District’s Class of 2023 has a huge reason to celebrate beyond walking the stage, as the total number of scholarship offers and financial aid awards are in with almost $95 million awarded to this year’s class.
As of June 23, the Class of 2023 accumulated $94,810,788 worth of scholarships and financial aid awards, totaling $689,474,612 since 2014.
The school with the most offers is Carl Wunsche Sr. High School, where graduating seniors there have been offered more than $32 million in scholarships. Students at Westfield High School received over $22 million in scholarships, while Spring High School earned over $15 million in awards. Dekaney High School recorded over $14 million, and Spring Early College Academy seniors were offered just over $11 million.
“The Class of 2023's remarkable achievement of receiving close to $95 million in scholarship and financial aid offers is a testament to the dedication, resilience, and outstanding potential of our students,” Spring ISD Superintendent Dr. Lupita Hinojosa said. “This incredible investment in our students reflects the hard work of our talented educators, supportive families, and the collaborative efforts within our Spring ISD community. We believe in our students' limitless capabilities, and these scholarship offers are a testament to their readiness to excel in higher education and beyond.”
