Spring Community Campout in Katy Offers Family Fun Under the Stars Close to Home
Families in the Katy area are invited to enjoy a night of outdoor adventure at the Spring Community Campout, hosted by the City of Katy Parks and Recreation Department. This annual event will take place at VFW Park in Katy, beginning on Friday, March 21, at 4:00 p.m., and concluding on Saturday, March 22, at 9:00 a.m. The free event features an evening of activities, outdoor entertainment, and a memorable camping experience for all ages.
Campers will enjoy a lineup of classic outdoor fun, including a hot dog dinner provided by Parkway Fellowship North Katy, an outdoor movie screening, and a campfire treat of s’mores and popcorn. This year’s featured movie will be "The Incredibles", offering family-friendly entertainment under the stars. Attendees will also have a chance to participate in a spring tree giveaway, thanks to the generosity of Nelson Water Gardens & Nursery, Inc. A light breakfast will be provided in the morning before camp wraps up.
