Spring Branch ISD Unofficial Election Results
Two new members of the Spring Branch ISD Board of Trustees were elected Saturday.
Complete but unofficial results show Courtney Anderson was elected to the Position 1 seat and Shannon Mahan was elected to the Position 2 seat. Each board member serves a three-year term.
Courtney Anderson received 7,081 votes in the complete but unofficial results, defeating David Lopez, who received 3,497 votes for the Position 1 seat.
Shannon Mahan received 7,187 votes in the complete but unofficial results, defeating Becky Ardell Downs, who received 3,366 votes for the Position 2 seat.
Official canvassing of votes will occur at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 in the Board Room at the Wayne F. Schaper, Sr. Leadership Center, 955 Campbell Road. A canvass verifies that votes were accurately counted during the election.
