Smalls Sliders Opens in Tomball with Grand Opening Celebration and Local Youth Partnership
The bold orange “Can” is ready to roll in Tomball as Smalls Sliders® officially opens its newest Texas location at 25549 Highway 249, Tomball, TX 77375. Launching at 10:00 a.m., the grand opening will mark the fourth Smalls Sliders in Texas and the first in the Tomball area, following openings in Houston, Willis, and McKinney.
But this debut is about more than just sliders and Smauce®. It’s about community.
As part of the celebration, Smalls Sliders Tomball franchise owner Thad Montgomery will present a check to the FCS Sports Performance Foundation, a local nonprofit dedicated to developing young athletes both physically and spiritually. The foundation—founded by former professional baseball players Clayton Crum and Eric Fisher—was selected as the Can’s “Smalls Town Hero”, a program that supports organizations making a local impact.
“Serving crave-worthy sliders isn’t just our job, it’s our passion,” said Montgomery. “Tomball has a strong sense of community, and opening our doors with an event that supports local youth through the FCS Sports Performance Foundation is a great way to become part of it.”
Montgomery, a multi-unit franchisee with a proven track record in Texas, is leading the brand’s growth in the Lone Star State. With Tomball’s Can now up and running, Smalls Sliders is continuing its aggressive expansion across the Southeast, Southwest, and beyond.

A “Smorange” Revolution in Tomball
For those new to the hype, Smalls Sliders specializes exclusively in fresh, cooked-to-order cheeseburger sliders—small in size, but big on flavor. Its minimalist menu includes seasoned fries, creamy queso, classic shakes, and the brand’s signature Smauce®, a tangy, craveable house spread that fans can’t get enough of.
Its signature modular “Can” format—built from converted shipping containers—is hard to miss with its bold Smorange™ exterior, walk-up window, and streamlined drive-thru. Designed for speed and simplicity, the Can concept has helped the brand explode in popularity with loyal “Frequent Sliders” across the country.
Smalls Sliders is the brainchild of restaurateur Brandon Landry, and backed by 10 Point Capital and NFL legend Drew Brees, with a leadership team that brings decades of fast-casual restaurant expertise.
