Houston Restaurant Weeks 2026 Features Vintage Park, Champions, Willowbrook and Magnolia Restaurants
Northwest Houston area residents will not have to travel downtown to take part in Houston Restaurant Weeks this summer.
Seven participating restaurants have been announced across Vintage Park, Champions, Willowbrook and Magnolia, creating a local mix of steakhouses, Brazilian churrasco, neighborhood dining and chef-driven menus during the 2026 campaign.
Houston Restaurant Weeks 2026 will run from Aug. 1 through Sept. 7, offering 38 days of specially priced prix fixe brunch, lunch and dinner menus. A portion of each participating meal benefits Houston Food Bank.
For diners, the annual event creates an opportunity to try a restaurant they have been considering, revisit a familiar favorite or turn an ordinary summer evening into a meal out with family or friends. For restaurants, those reservations can help fill dining rooms during a season that has become increasingly difficult.
Restaurant operators across Greater Houston are contending with rising food and labor costs, narrow margins and a slower-than-usual summer. Household budgets are also under pressure, making the event’s set-price menus relevant to both sides of the table.
Northwest Houston Restaurant Weeks Participants
The current list of participating restaurants in Vintage Park, Champions and Willowbrook includes:
- Black Walnut — Vintage Park
- BRIX Restaurant — 110 Vintage Park Boulevard
- Gauchos Do Sul Brazilian Steakhouse — Vintage Park
- Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille — Champions
- Saltgrass Steak House Willowbrook
- The Chef’s Table Vintage Park — 110 Vintage Park Boulevard
Vintage Park serves as the center of this year’s northwest Houston lineup. Black Walnut offers a more casual neighborhood option, while Gauchos Do Sul brings the Brazilian steakhouse experience to the campaign.
BRIX Restaurant and The Chef’s Table Vintage Park are both located in Vintage Park, giving diners additional chef-led options within the development. Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille in Champions and Saltgrass Steak House in Willowbrook round out the northwest Houston list with two established steakhouse choices.
Magnolia Restaurant Joining the Campaign
Residents in the Tomball and Magnolia area can also participate at:
- Red Flame Steak and Grill — Magnolia
The Magnolia restaurant extends Houston Restaurant Weeks farther into the growing communities northwest of Houston, giving area residents a participating option closer to home.
The official list is updated daily ahead of the event, so additional restaurants could be announced before Aug. 1. Diners should review each establishment’s posted menu to confirm available meal periods, prices and reservation policies.
Why Houston Restaurant Weeks Matters to Local Businesses
Houston Restaurant Weeks was created in 2003 by the late Cleverley Stone, a Houston restaurant journalist and philanthropist who spent decades telling the stories of the city’s chefs and dining community.
Stone recognized that August was often a difficult month for local restaurants. Her response was the Dine Out & Do Good campaign, which encouraged Houstonians to fill restaurant tables while raising money for hunger relief.
The Cleverley Stone Foundation now produces Houston Restaurant Weeks under the leadership of Stone’s daughter, Katie Stone. Since its founding, the event has raised more than $23 million for Houston Food Bank and helped provide the equivalent of more than 70 million meals.
“My mother started Houston Restaurant Weeks in 2003 to help restaurants through their hardest month, and that mission has never mattered more than it does right now,” Katie Stone said. “So many of our restaurants are fighting to stay open in a difficult economy. When Houstonians choose to Dine Out & Do Good, they are not only helping feed families through the Houston Food Bank, they are throwing a lifeline to the local businesses and the people behind them who make this city what it is. Every reservation truly makes a difference.”
For northwest Houston, the impact is personal. Restaurants are gathering places where families celebrate birthdays, neighbors meet for lunch, couples mark anniversaries and local employees earn their livelihoods. Supporting those businesses during a slow season helps preserve part of the community’s everyday character.
The Houston Food Bank’s Regional Reach
Houston Food Bank has worked to provide food for people across Houston and Southeast Texas since 1982. The organization distributes access to approximately 143 million nutritious meals in 18 counties through a network of about 1,600 partners.
Those partners include food pantries, schools, soup kitchens and social-service providers. Houston Food Bank also focuses on fresh produce, nutrition education and programs that can help families pursue longer-term stability.
The organization works alongside regional partners, including food banks serving Montgomery County, Galveston County and the Brazos Valley. That collaborative system helps food and other resources reach communities across a broad and rapidly growing part of Southeast Texas.
Houston Food Bank is also a certified member of Feeding America and has received a four-star Charity Navigator rating for 14 consecutive years, according to information provided by the organization.
Planning a Northwest Houston Restaurant Weeks Meal
More than 350 restaurants are expected to participate throughout Greater Houston this year. Menus are now being released, with additional updates expected as the campaign approaches.
Because not every restaurant offers every meal period, diners should confirm whether a location is serving a Restaurant Weeks brunch, lunch or dinner menu. Reservations are recommended, especially at smaller restaurants and popular steakhouses.
