Small-Town Values and Personalized Care: Padgett Hearing Aid Center Brings Hearing Healthcare Legacy to Katy
As the Katy community continues to expand, so does the need for quality healthcare. While many major healthcare institutions dominate the healthcare space, smaller family-owned practices like Padgett Hearing Aid Center continue to make their mark for a personalized approach to healthcare delivery, where patients are greeted by name and treated like family.
That's been the cornerstone of Padgett Hearing Aid Center for over 40 years. With a rich history of compassionate hearing healthcare dating back to 1978, this family-owned practice continues to embody the small town values of unwavering patient commitment that their reputation was built upon. And now, they are thrilled to serve the Katy community.
Through decades of service under the leadership of Patrick Padgett, they have set the benchmark for customer-oriented support and patient-focused care. Then in 2017, Patrick decided that the time had come to retire, entrusting his well-established institution into the capable hands of Aaron Gonzalez and his wife, Brenda. Originally from Brownsville, the duo took this commitment to heart and diligently carried the torch forward in Brenham, growing their reputation and presence until they opened a second location in Bastrop in 2020.
"Our patient hearing needs are our number one priority, and we are on mission to help people hear better," asserts Aaron.
For Aaron, he believes that providing quality healthcare services is essential for the well-being of patients and their loved ones across all of the communities they serve. "Creating a positive experience by listening to what our patients need and providing them with the utmost care is why we’ve opened multiple locations," shares Aaron.
In August 2023, Padgett Hearing Aid Center opened its doors in Historic Downtown Katy, marking their sixth location in Texas. Even with the addition of new locations, the Padgett team never lost sight of Patrick Padgett's fundamental teachings. Today, Patrick Padgett continues to serve the community as a Hearing Instrument Specialist, leveraging his remarkable 45-year experience to serve the Katy community.
The new Katy office stands out with its state-of-the-art equipment, ready to offer comprehensive services from hearing screenings and ear wax removals to ongoing hearing aid care. But the Padgett Hearing Aid Center's growth is not just limited to its physical footprint; it also encompasses community involvement. They recently joined the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce, valuing it as a resourceful partner to support their growth and integration within the local community.

Despite the headquarters being in Brenham, the Padgett team's ties to Katy are strong, with their Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) residing in Katy, and Patrick, Aaron and his family in nearby Bellville. Aaron and Brenda have been married for 11 years and with their children, Arantza and Aaron, they enjoy hunting, exploring the outdoors, and creating memories with their family and friends.
