San Antonio Resident Wins $1 Million on Texas Lottery Scratch Ticket
A San Antonio resident is officially $1 million richer after claiming a top prize from the Texas Lottery’s popular 200X The Cash scratch ticket game, according to a recent announcement from the Texas Lottery.
The winning ticket was purchased at Times Market, located at 1910 S. Hackberry St. on San Antonio’s South Side. The claimant chose to remain anonymous, a common option for major lottery winners in Texas.
The $1 million prize marks the second of four top prizes available in the 200X The Cash game to be claimed statewide. The scratch ticket game continues to attract Texas players with more than $103 million in total prizes still offered throughout the game’s run.
For the neighborhood convenience store that sold the winning ticket, the news could bring a financial boost as well. Under the Texas Lottery’s Retailer Bonus Program, Times Market may be eligible to receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the prize-winning ticket.
Odds and Remaining Top Prizes in 200X The Cash
The 200X The Cash scratch ticket game offers players a chance at multiple large payouts, including four top prizes worth $1 million each. With only two of those grand prizes claimed so far, two additional million-dollar prizes remain unclaimed statewide.
According to the Texas Lottery, the overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.88, including break-even prizes.
While lottery wins of this size are rare, stories like this often spark excitement across local communities, especially when the winning ticket is sold at a familiar neighborhood business.
Texas Lottery Contributions Across the State
