Residents near King Crossing may soon have another convenient option for hair care, beauty supplies and salon-quality products, with a Sally Beauty store planned at 22225 Elyson Falls Drive in Katy.
The 2,372-square-foot project calls for an interior remodel of an existing retail shopping center, which also includes The Tutoring Center Katy/Elyson and Great Clips. Construction is currently scheduled to begin Sept. 1, 2026, and reach completion by Oct. 1, 2026, according to the project filing. The privately funded renovation carries an estimated cost of $250,000.
For nearby families, salon professionals and do-it-yourself beauty shoppers, the store would add a familiar national retailer to the growing commercial area surrounding Elyson and neighboring communities.
What Sally Beauty Could Bring to the Area
Sally Beauty is known for offering professional-quality beauty products to both licensed professionals and everyday consumers. Its stores carry hair color, shampoo, conditioner, textured hair products, skin care, nail supplies, clippers, curling irons, flat irons and other styling tools.

The renovation is listed under the facility name Navidad Retail and is classified as an alteration of an existing building rather than new construction. The scope is limited to an interior remodel, suggesting the Sally Beauty location would occupy space within an established retail property.
A construction completion date is not necessarily the same as a public opening date. Store setup, inventory deliveries, employee training and final inspections may still be required after renovation work concludes. Sally Beauty has not yet announced a confirmed grand opening date for the Elyson Falls Drive location.
Still, the project represents another service-oriented retail addition near King Crossing, where continued residential growth is creating demand for more nearby shopping, dining and personal-care options.
