Trash
Trash collection should be ready no later than 5:00 am on your scheduled service day. Texas Pride Disposal provides dependable residential waste collection services for municipal contracts and individual subscribers, using customer cans or Texas Pride Disposal provided 65 or 95-gallon containers.
Household Garbage: Waste must be placed in bags or containers no larger than 95 gallons. Cans or bags cannot exceed 50 pounds. Containers smaller than 20 gallons, or containers that are not built specifically to be used as a trash can, will be disposed of. Drums and barrels are not allowed and will be disposed of.
Heavy Trash: Two heavy items are collected every service day. Heavy trash/bulk waste includes waste that is not generated on a regular basis, such as furniture, appliances, hot water heaters, fencing, decking, siding, trampolines, basketball goals, carpeting and flooring. Refrigerators and freezers must be drained of Freon and have a bill to validate that service was performed.
Fencing, Decking, Siding, Carpeting & Flooring: Please remove nails, cut materials into lengths 4 feet or shorter, tie and bundle under 50 pounds, and limit to eight bundles per service day.
Yard Waste: Place grass clippings in cans or bags under 50 pounds. Limit eight bags of yard waste per service day. Branches should be placed in clear, individual piles measuring no larger than 3′ x 3′ x 3′, tied, bundled, and under 50 pounds. Branches should measure no more than 6” in diameter to avoid damage to equipment. Limit eight bundles per service day.
Excess Volume: If you have a larger than usual amount of household waste, bulk waste, or yard waste, contact Texas Pride Disposal for a disposal quote or for assistance with proper disposal resources. Excess yard waste of more than eight bags or eight bundles is considered a pay pile.
Excluded Items: Items not accepted with regular collection include dirt/mulch, waste generated by a private contractor such as remodeling or landscaping waste, rocks, motor oil, pesticides/insecticides, gasoline/kerosene, medical waste, bricks, tile, batteries, liquid paint, fertilizer, concrete, tires, pool chemicals, cooking oil, sod and lawn mowers.
