Rotary Club of Cypress-Fairbanks Donates Benches to Reach Unlimited
In March, the Rotary Club of Cypress-Fairbanks donated and installed five bright blue metal benches around the Reach Unlimited campus for clients to enjoy. Located in the heart of Cy-Fair, Reach Unlimited provides the most comprehensive programs and services for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the greater Houston northwest. Funded through a Medicaid-waiver program, Reach serves nearly 300 individuals annually.
The Rotary Club of Cypress-Fairbanks will dedicate the benches on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Reach Unlimited, located at 11832 Mueller Cemetery Road in Cypress from 1:00 – 1:30 PM. The benches were funded by the club and Rotary District 5890, an organization with a heart of service for the community.
“Our club members have a special heart for service, and Reach Unlimited is one of the organizations our club supports with volunteers, donations and monthly birthday celebrations for Reach clients,” said Club President Alan Brevard. “This year we had a Rotary District Grant available to us, which matches our club’s donation to a project the club selects. The value of the Reach Unlimited bench project is over $6,200.”
