Reminder to Submit Exterior Modification Requests for Review
With cooler temperatures on the horizon, you may be contemplating a project to beautify the exterior of your home. But did you know that all exterior modifications to you home have to be reviewed by your HOA prior to the start of any work?
Save time - and ultimately money - by sending in details about your project to your HOA before purchasing supplies. Any modification to the exterior of your home needs to be submitted. This includes major changes like room additions and minor changes like paint color, installation of gutters, and/or landscape changes, as well as modifications that may not be visible from the street like storage sheds and swimming pools.
The rules and regulations of an Association are designed to protect the beauty and value of the Association and each of its members. To ensure architectural standards are maintained to protect current and future owners, check with your community manager about submitting an exterior modification application prior to any modifications being made.
