REMINDER: Copperfield Place Village Community Garage Sale Returns Nov. 7: Get Ready to Shop and Sell
If a crowded closet or garage has been waiting for your attention, Copperfield Place Village's fall community garage sale offers a good reason to sort through it. Neighbors who would rather browse than sell can spend the morning looking for useful secondhand finds close to home.
The Copperfield Place Village Community Garage Sale returns Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 8 a.m. to noon. Residents can make room at home while shoppers look for books, toys, furniture, household goods and whatever other surprises their neighbors put out for sale.
The village held a community sale in April from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. November's sale has a shorter, four-hour window, so a little preparation will help sellers make the most of the morning. Participating residents will sell at their homes, and street-corner signs are allowed to help shoppers find the sales.

Getting ready to sell in Copperfield Place Village
Start with items your household no longer uses. Sort through storage shelves, closets and children's things, then set aside pieces that are clean and in working order. Group similar items as you go so setup on Saturday morning takes less time.
Put easy-to-read prices on items before the 8 a.m. start. Shoppers can browse more comfortably when they do not have to ask the price of every book or kitchen item. Tables help keep smaller goods visible, while an open path through the display makes the sale easier to navigate. Keep sidewalks and neighboring driveways clear as you set up.
If you plan to take cash, have small bills and coins ready for change. If you choose to accept electronic payments, check your own payment app to confirm a transaction before handing over an item. Residents may also use street-corner signs to point shoppers toward their homes; clear lettering and simple directions will be easier to follow from the road.
It helps to decide in advance what to do with anything left at noon. Setting aside items for donation or storage can make the end of the sale less hectic.
Shopping the neighborhood sale
Copperfield Place Village lies east of Highway 6, just north of FM 529. Shoppers can follow any street-corner signs and look for participating sales as they travel through the neighborhood. Arriving near the 8 a.m. start leaves more time to browse before the sale ends at noon.
Shoppers may find a small bag and cash in smaller denominations handy for moving between stops. Whether walking or driving, leave room for neighbors to use sidewalks, driveways and mailboxes. A community garage sale is also a chance to meet someone a few streets away and give an unused item a new life.
