Registration Now Open for Cy-Fair ISD Superintendent’s Fun Run Benefiting Local Education
After a one-year hiatus, the highly anticipated Cy-Fair ISD Superintendent’s Fun Run is returning on March 29, 2025, at the Berry Center in Cypress, Texas. This exciting community event supports the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation (CFEF), which has been empowering students through scholarships and funding staff development grants for decades. With registration now open, local families, community members, and supporters of education are invited to participate in this important event, which will feature a 5K run and 1-mile family-friendly walk/run.

The Cy-Fair ISD Superintendent’s Fun Run is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a morning of fun, fitness, and philanthropy. The event will include the following activities:
- 5K Run: Winding through Towne Lake and Lone Star College—CyFair, this competitive 5K course offers participants a scenic and exciting race route.
- 1-Mile Walk/Run: Ideal for families and participants of all ages, this shorter course includes engaging stops with high school spirit teams and inflatable tunnels. It’s a fun and accessible way to join the cause.
- Kids Zone: A dedicated area filled with exciting activities to entertain the younger attendees.
- Student Performances, Vendors, and Food Trucks: Enjoy a variety of food, entertainment, and shopping options throughout the event.

In addition to promoting fitness and community spirit, the Superintendent’s Fun Run plays a crucial role in raising funds for Cy-Fair Educational Foundation (CFEF). Since its inception, CFEF has awarded over $1 million to students and staff, funding scholarships for graduating seniors and staff development grants to enhance educational opportunities. Last year, the Fun Run raised an impressive $210,000, with approximately 8,000 participants contributing to the success of the event.
