For Rosewood Atascosa Estates residents, recycling is drop-off service—not curbside collection. The City of Lytle accepts recycling at the Public Works Shop, 19580 Florence Street, every Wednesday and the first and third Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon, except holidays.
Yes: bring these to the drop-off
- Plastic containers marked #1 or #2
- Food and beverage cans
- Paper
- Uncoated cardboard and paperboard
All material must be dry, loose, unbagged, unshredded and empty. Bring a driver’s license and utility bill as proof of residency.
No: not accepted at the drop-off
- Food waste or foam
- Food and beverage cartons
- Batteries or bulbs
- Glass
- Plastic bags, film or bagged recyclables
Batteries, bulbs, electronics, household chemicals, paint, automotive fluids and other hard-to-dispose items can be scheduled for Waste Management’s At Your Door collection. Regular trash pickup is Thursday; carts should be out by 7 a.m.
