Reach Unlimited Hosts 2025 Holiday Market to Showcase Member-Crafted Goods in Cypress

December 01 2025

The Reach Unlimited Holiday Market is bringing festive cheer, handmade gifts, and community spirit to Cypress on Friday, December 5 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 11832 Mueller Cemetery Rd Building B, Cypress, TX 77429.

This beloved annual event shines a spotlight on the talents and hard work of Reach Unlimited’s program participants—adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities—who create an array of beautiful, meaningful, and useful products for sale. From fused glass ornaments to fresh microgreens, every item is crafted with care and purpose, helping Reach Members gain job skills, confidence, and income.

Holiday Market Features

  • Handcrafted fused glass art from the Reach Glass Program
  • Seasonal plants and arrangements from the Reach Greenhouse
  • Fresh, nutrient-packed microgreens grown on-site
  • Custom-printed celebratory napkins
  • Light refreshments, choir performances, and door prizes

Reach Unlimited is a trusted nonprofit serving northwest Harris County, offering comprehensive support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the greater Houston area. Its programs—including supported employment, residential care, and a vibrant Learning Activity Center—are designed to empower members to live lives full of joy, purpose, and accomplishment.

The Holiday Market offers more than just an opportunity to shop—it’s a way to connect with and support an organization making a real difference in the Cypress community.

Programs on Display at the Market

The Reach Glass Program gives members the opportunity to create custom glass pieces while earning a paycheck. From suncatchers and holiday ornaments to jewelry and tableware, the designs reflect the creativity and dedication of their makers. All proceeds go back into the program to fund materials, pay participants, and keep the studio thriving.

The Greenhouse at Reach Unlimited supports four Cypress-area community gardens and has produced over 4,000 pounds of fresh produce to fight food insecurity. Members are involved in every step—from sowing seeds to crafting arrangements—and learn valuable gardening and employment skills.

Reach Microgreens is the newest initiative, where members grow flavorful, nutrient-dense microgreens from non-GMO seeds. These are sold to local residents, restaurants, and caterers and are harvested with food safety practices in a dedicated grow facility. The project now employs 10 Reach members part-time and is expanding to meet growing demand.

A Market With Heart

Every product purchased at the Reach Unlimited Holiday Market contributes to a larger mission—offering dignity, purpose, and independence to people with developmental disabilities. The programs are structured to match members’ unique abilities with meaningful work, creating a cycle of empowerment and community integration.
