PJ's Coffee to Open Second Location in Katy with Free Beignets and Sweet Deals
Excitement is brewing in Katy, as the city gears up for the grand opening of its second PJ's Coffee location on Monday, May 6, 2024. Founded in New Orleans in 1978 by coffee pioneer Phyllis Jordan, PJ's Coffee has made a name for itself in the specialty coffee industry with its dedication to high-quality beans, superior roasting methods and a pure passion for coffee-making.
The Katy Fort Bend branch, located at 1185 Katy Fort Bend Road, will maintain the traditional essence of PJ's. Like all PJ's locations, including this one, the store will be supplied with coffee beans sourced and roasted under the expert guidance of PJ's Roastmaster Felton Jones. With over 25 years of experience with the brand, Jones oversees the small batch roasting of the finest Arabica coffee beans from across the globe. The aroma alone transports patrons on a sensory journey back to the original PJ's Coffee location on Maple Street in New Orleans.
PJ's coffee menu includes staples like cappuccinos, lattes, macchiatos, and traditional coffee, as well as New Orleans favorite Cafe Au Lait. The menu also includes a wide selection of frozen, blended and iced coffees, as well as energy drinks and teas. PJ's also offers limited time, seasonal beverages throughout the year, like the Shaken Honey Brûlée.
But, PJ's Coffee is not just about the brew. They pair their excellent coffee with a New Orleans staple - beignets. The hot and billowy French pastry is dusted with powdery confectioners' sugar, the perfect partner to any coffee beverage. Patrons of the new Katy location can also enjoy a variety of options from the brand's expansive food menu, including muffins, scones, croissants and more.

On the day of the opening, customers will be treated to a free beignet with any beverage purchase. The opening week will see a 'Buy One, Get One Half Off' deal on hot coffee or cold brew. Healthcare workers, first responders, veterans, and active military personnel can always enjoy a 10% discount at the new location.
PJ's Coffee at Katy Fort Bend will operate from 5 am to 7 pm from Monday to Friday, 6 am to 8 pm on Saturdays, and 6 am to 6 pm on Sundays, offering both drive-thru and indoor seating options.
