PJ’s Coffee Brings a Taste of New Orleans to Tomball with Beignets, Brews, and a Grand Opening Celebration
The aroma of fresh beignets and rich coffee is drifting into Tomball just in time for the holidays. PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans is celebrating the grand opening of its newest location on FM 2920 with a festive community event on Thursday, November 20, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Located at 9210 FM 2920 Suite 117, Tomball, TX 77375, the locally owned coffeehouse will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. in partnership with the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce. Visitors to the event can enjoy complimentary small hot or iced coffee, pastry and coffee samples, PJ’s giveaways, and a chance to win Free Coffee for a Year.
Franchise owners and Tomball residents Greg Tran and Pauline Nguyen bring a personal passion to the project. Their PJ’s journey began years ago at the University of New Orleans, where they attended a business class presentation from PJ’s Coffee founder Phyllis Jordan. That memorable class sparked a long-standing love for the brand and ultimately led to their decision to bring the PJ’s Coffee experience to Texas.

“Opening PJ’s Coffee in Tomball is a milestone for us,” said Tran. “From our very first taste of PJ’s, we knew this was a brand we wanted to bring to Texas. We can’t wait to share the energy, flavor and tradition of New Orleans with our guests, and we look forward to celebrating with them at our grand opening.”
Since opening its doors quietly on October 6, the Tomball café has already seen its authentic New Orleans-style beignets become a customer favorite. Hot, golden, and dusted with powdered sugar, the French pastry pairs perfectly with PJ’s signature Café au Lait or Cold Brew & Chicory.
Guests can also look forward to a seasonal lineup of festive drinks, like the Peppermint Bark Velvet Ice, Gingerbread Chai Latte, and the Jingle Bells Shaken Espresso, along with cozy holiday treats like Gingerbread Cake Balls and freshly baked muffins, croissants, and cinnamon rolls.

With a wide-ranging menu of premium hot and cold coffee beverages, energy drinks, teas, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, toasted ciabatta lunch offerings, and grab-and-go items like egg bites and yogurt parfaits, PJ’s Coffee offers something for every taste and schedule. The Tomball location also features a convenient drive-thru, making it easy for commuters and families to get their coffee fix on the go.
