A new option for pet owners has opened along the Interstate 45 corridor in Spring.

Pet Wants Spring officially opened Sept. 4 at 26832 Interstate 45 North, offering fresh pet food, natural treats, chews, supplements and other products geared toward pet nutrition and wellness.

The store is locally owned by Chris Reynolds, a former veterinary technician who is bringing years of hands-on animal-care experience into the business.

For families in Spring, The Woodlands and nearby communities, the new location adds another place to shop for pet food and supplies, but with a narrower focus on nutrition and everyday wellness.

From Veterinary Care to Pet Nutrition

Reynolds’ background sets the Spring location apart from a typical retail pet store.

As a former veterinary technician, Reynolds has worked directly with animals and pet owners and has seen how often questions about food, weight, digestion and overall health come up in routine care.

Pet Wants Spring is built around many of those same conversations.

The store carries Pet Wants food formulas, natural treats, chews and supplements, along with products intended for pet owners looking more closely at what goes into their dog’s or cat’s daily diet.

Pet Wants says its food is prepared in small batches and offers formulas made without ingredients such as corn, wheat, soy, added sugars, artificial colors and animal by-products, depending on the product.
