Oak Park Trails Holiday Lights Contest Offers Fun and Festive Prizes

It’s beginning to look a lot like the holidays in and around Oak Park Trails—and that means it’s time to break out the lights, garlands, and creativity! The Oak Park Trails Homeowners Association is excited to announce its 2025 Holiday Lights Contest, and this year’s celebration promises plenty of sparkle and cheer for residents throughout the neighborhood.

Whether you go for classic white twinkle lights or a full-on inflatable wonderland, all Oak Park Trails residents are invited to join in the fun. Ten lucky winners will each receive a $50 gift card, just in time for some extra holiday shopping.

Here’s What You Need to Know

  • Judging Dates: December 19th and 20th

  • Winners Announced: December 21st

  • Prizes: Ten $50 gift cards awarded to the most festive and creative displays

The HOA is encouraging residents to light up the neighborhood with their most imaginative, whimsical, or elegant holiday decorations. Whether your style is wintery white, brightly colorful, or inspired by your favorite holiday characters, it’s all fair game. Just be sure to follow these helpful safety tips while putting up your displays.

This annual contest is more than just a friendly competition—it’s a celebration of community spirit and togetherness. During judging nights, be sure to take a stroll or drive around Oak Park Trails to enjoy the glowing displays and maybe gather some ideas for next year.
