New 7 Brew Coffee Planned Near Luckey Ranch in San Antonio’s Alamo Ranch Area

August 19 2026

A new coffee stop is brewing near Luckey Ranch, and it is one residents may already recognize from around San Antonio.

7 Brew Coffee is planning a new drive-thru-only location at 11982 Alamo Ranch in San Antonio, TX 78253, according to project information for the Bexar County development. The project is expected to represent an investment of about $1 million and calls for construction of a small-format, 560-square-foot coffee stand built specifically around drive-thru service.

Construction is currently scheduled to begin September 1, 2026, with completion projected for January 15, 2027.

For residents of Luckey Ranch, the project adds another quick-service option to the broader Alamo Ranch area, where errands, school drop-offs, shopping trips and daily commutes already keep many families moving throughout the day.

A Small Building With a Very Specific Purpose

At just 560 square feet, the planned 7 Brew will be considerably smaller than a traditional coffeehouse.

That is intentional.

7 Brew has built its business around a drive-thru-first model rather than the sit-down café experience. Its stands are designed to move customers through quickly, with employees taking orders outside and drinks prepared inside the compact building.

The Alamo Ranch project is listed as ground-up new construction and specifically described as a drive-thru-only coffee shop, meaning residents should not expect an indoor seating area or café-style workspace.

Instead, the appeal is aimed squarely at customers looking to grab a drink and keep going.

7 Brew Is Already Growing Across San Antonio

The planned Alamo Ranch location would join a growing 7 Brew footprint in San Antonio.

The company’s current location directory lists four operating San Antonio stands at 14118 Culebra Road, 2630 SE Military Drive, 6202 Interstate 35 and 9219 Potranco Road.

Texas has also become a major market for the chain. As of August 2026, 7 Brew’s official directory lists 117 stands across the state.

How 7 Brew Went From Arkansas Startup to National Coffee Chain

7 Brew was founded in Northwest Arkansas in 2017, initially centered around seven coffees that helped inspire the company’s name.

By 2020, it had grown to seven stands. The company was purchased that year by an entrepreneurial group operating as Brew Culture LLC, which expanded the concept while developing the company’s drive-thru operations, menu and customer-service model.

Its growth since then has been rapid.

7 Brew now reports more than 800 stands across 38 states and more than 45,000 Brew Crew employees nationwide. The company says it serves more than one million drinks per day.

Despite that national scale, each location follows a relatively simple formula: a small building, drive-thru lanes, a sizable drink menu and employees interacting directly with customers outside.

What Can Customers Order at 7 Brew?

The menu goes well beyond traditional hot coffee.

7 Brew currently offers 7 Originals, classic coffee drinks, 7 Energy beverages, 7 Fizz sodas, teas, chai, matcha, lemonades, smoothies and shakes.

One of the brand’s biggest selling points is customization. According to 7 Brew, its flavors and modifications create more than 20,000 possible drink combinations. Customers can adjust flavors and choose options including sugar-free syrups, alternative milks and caffeine-free drinks.

Among the brand’s better-known coffee drinks is the Blondie, while its menu also includes flavored energy drinks, teas and fruit-based beverages. San Antonio location pages highlight drinks such as Strawberry Smoothies and Blondies with whipped cream and caramel drizzle among local favorites.

That variety is part of what separates 7 Brew from coffee chains focused primarily on espresso drinks. Someone in the car can order coffee while another chooses an energy drink, lemonade, smoothie or soda-style beverage.

What Makes 7 Brew Different?

Speed is central to the concept.

The company says its double drive-thru lanes are designed to help employees prepare customized drinks quickly, while its broader brand emphasizes friendly interaction with customers. 7 Brew refers to its employees as Brewistas and describes its company mission as “Cultivating Kindness.”

The format also explains why such a small structure can support a busy operation. Instead of devoting space to dining rooms, restrooms for café customers or indoor seating, the physical footprint is concentrated on beverage preparation and drive-thru service.

For Luckey Ranch families passing through Alamo Ranch, that could make the planned stand especially suited for school mornings, weekend errands or the commute along San Antonio’s Far West Side.

What Happens Next in Alamo Ranch

If the current construction schedule remains on track, work on the new 7 Brew Coffee is expected to begin September 1, 2026, and reach completion around January 15, 2027.

That January date reflects the projected completion of construction and should not be interpreted as a confirmed grand-opening date. 7 Brew has not yet announced when the Alamo Ranch stand will officially begin serving customers.

Still, the filing offers an early look at another recognizable brand preparing to join the area’s growing mix of restaurants, retailers and everyday services.

For residents watching what is coming next around Alamo Ranch, the answer now includes a very compact coffee shop with a very large menu.
