Monster Truck Wars Returns to San Antonio November 7 With Three Shows, Monster Truck Rides and Family Entertainment
San Antonio families looking for an exciting weekend outing will have three chances to experience roaring engines, flying dirt and oversized monster trucks when Monster Truck Wars returns to the San Antonio Rose Palace on Saturday, November 7, 2026.
The nationally touring motorsports event will feature performances at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., bringing professional monster truck drivers, high-flying stunts, competitive racing and several opportunities for children to participate in the festivities.
Held at the covered San Antonio Rose Palace, located at 25665 Boerne Stage Road, the event also includes pre-show Pit Parties, driver autograph sessions, ATV racing and optional rides aboard a real monster truck. For families throughout San Antonio, Boerne, Leon Springs, Fair Oaks Ranch and surrounding communities, the event offers a full day of entertainment just northwest of the city.
Monster Truck Wars Brings National Touring Show Back to San Antonio
Monster Truck Wars is a traveling motorsports production that brings large-scale monster trucks, professional drivers and family entertainment to venues across the United States.
The show combines monster truck racing and stunt performances with interactive experiences that allow spectators to see the vehicles up close. Unlike motorsports competitions held on expansive outdoor racetracks, Monster Truck Wars brings its action into arena-style venues where spectators can watch the powerful trucks maneuver, compete and perform jumps.
On October 14, 2026, the organization announced its fall national tour, which includes stops in Maryland, Ohio, Georgia, Texas and Florida through December.
San Antonio is among three Texas cities on the announced schedule, with Amarillo hosting the event on November 14 and Conroe following on November 21. Other upcoming stops include Cincinnati, Ohio; Chatsworth, Georgia; Homestead, Florida; and Elkton, Florida.
The November 7 San Antonio performance is being promoted as a return engagement, with organizers advertising a larger show featuring several recognizable monster trucks, additional racing events and activities designed for younger fans.
Meet the Monster Trucks Coming to San Antonio
Four featured monster trucks are scheduled to compete at the San Antonio event, each with its own distinctive design and personality.
Among the announced competitors is Shark Attack, a 2023 points champion modeled after a whale shark. According to event organizers, the 10,200-pound truck produces 1,750 horsepower, combining its shark-inspired appearance with the power needed for competitive monster truck performances.
Outlaw, another featured competitor, is promoted as a seven-time champion. Built around a custom 2021 Ford F-250 design, the truck weighs approximately 9,500 pounds and is also listed at 1,750 horsepower.
Two newer monster trucks will join the lineup. Locomotive brings a train-inspired design and what organizers describe as a steam-powered attitude, while T-Rex introduces a dinosaur-themed monster truck promoted as a first-of-its-kind creation.
Together, the four trucks will compete on a specially prepared dirt track, where drivers will demonstrate the acceleration, maneuverability and jumping capabilities that have made monster truck shows popular with motorsports enthusiasts.
For children who have grown up watching monster trucks on television or playing with miniature versions at home, seeing these enormous vehicles in person can be one of the biggest attractions.
The featured truck lineup and show format are subject to change.
Monster Truck Rides, Pit Parties and Driver Meet-and-Greets
Beyond watching the competition, San Antonio attendees will have opportunities to get closer to the trucks and drivers.
The Monster Truck Wars Pit Party takes place before each performance and allows ticket holders with the appropriate admission to walk near the competition area, view the trucks up close and meet participating drivers.
VIP admission includes Pit Party access, while general admission ticket holders must purchase a separate Pit Party Pass to participate. Pit Party tickets are available online and, subject to availability, at the merchandise stand on the day of the show.
Organizers also plan to offer rides aboard Sergeant Smash, a designated monster truck ride vehicle.
The ride experience requires a separate ticket purchased at the venue on the day of the event. Ride tickets are cash only and are not included with general admission, VIP tickets or Pit Party passes. Organizers advise that the experience is not recommended for small infants.
For families who want to meet the drivers, autograph sessions are scheduled near the merchandise stand following each of the three performances.
These additional activities give attendees the option to spend more time at the event than the approximately 90-minute monster truck show itself.
Quad Wars and Kids Powerwheel Races Add to the Action
Monster trucks are not the only vehicles scheduled to take the track.
The event will also feature Quad Wars, a competitive ATV racing segment in which professional riders compete against one another on the dirt track for prize money and bragging rights.
For younger motorsports enthusiasts, Monster Truck Wars is bringing back its Kids Powerwheel Races, allowing children ages 3 through 9 to participate in the show using their own battery-powered ride-on vehicles.
Families interested in the children's races must bring their own Powerwheel and reserve a spot in advance through the event's registration process. Participating children will also have a chance to win a souvenir.
The Powerwheel races offer a different kind of experience for children who might otherwise spend the afternoon watching from the stands. For parents, they also provide an opportunity to make the event a little more personal, particularly for young monster truck fans eager to be part of the action.
Participation details and registration information are available through the official San Antonio Monster Truck Wars event page.
