Lone Star College–CyFair Library Hosts Week of Family Fun: Crafts, Storytimes, and Children's Book Sale Celebrate Community
The Lone Star College–CyFair Library, a community hub located near your neighborhood, is kicking off the first week of June with a colorful lineup of free community programs, offering enriching and entertaining experiences for families across Cypress and Northwest Houston. From toddlers to teens—and even the grown-ups—every age group is invited to discover something new at your local library from June 2 through June 8.
Located at 9191 Barker Cypress Road, the LSC–CyFair Library is more than just a place for books. It's a vibrant partnership between Harris County Public Library and Lone Star College that opened in 2003. As one of the largest public academic libraries in the region, it provides educational resources, meeting spaces, community programs, and technology access for thousands of residents each year. With summer underway, the library is embracing its role as a family-friendly destination with a week of interactive programming that reflects its core mission: building community through literacy and learning.
