Local Spot Debuts in Fulshear with Pre-Opening Celebration August 23
The team behind the beloved Local Table restaurant is opening the doors to their latest concept, Local Spot, this Saturday, August 23 at 4 PM for a pre-opening dinner service in Cross Creek Ranch, Fulshear. Designed for connection, comfort, and great food, the new restaurant will offer a full-service experience built around community favorites—complete with signature pizzas, sandwiches, cocktails, and more.
The grand opening celebration is scheduled for Saturday, September 6 at 4:00 PM and will feature food, drinks, giveaways, and music for neighbors and guests across the region.
Located in the former Italian Maid Café at 6450 Cross Creek Bend Lane, Local Spot is the first new venture under the Eat Local Concepts umbrella since the launch of Local Table. With its mix of modern American fare and a relaxed, family-friendly environment, the new eatery aims to become a go-to gathering place for residents of Fulshear and beyond.
“The foundation of our restaurant group is built around homegrown communities,” said co-owner and Cross Creek Ranch resident Shervin Sharifi. “Local Spot was designed intentionally for families on the go and also families looking for a spot to unwind together and make some core memories”.

A Menu That Marries Comfort and Creativity
Curated by executive chef and co-owner Sue Nowamooz, the menu at Local Spot offers bold takes on American comfort food, including:
- Spicy Buffalo and Meatworks pizzas
- The Spot Smash Burger
- Crab Roll and Italian Sub
- Donut Holes with dipping sauces
- The Spot Ice Cream Sandwich, served with cookies or brownies and sprinkles
The kitchen also features shareable bites like The Spot Sampler—a tray of fried pickles, mushrooms, onion rings, and cheese curds with feta jalapeño ranch—and signature wings in flavors like mango habanero and garlic parmesan.
From hearty handhelds like the Buffalo Chicken Burger to lighter fare like the Italian Chopped Salad or the hummus board, Local Spot's menu aims to please a wide variety of palates.

The beverage program is just as thoughtfully crafted. Signature cocktails like the Cucumber Confidential and Elijah’s Summer with a Saint are joined by Local Spot exclusives like The Kickback—a refreshing blend of vodka, jalapeño, and house-made strawberry lemonade.
Wine lovers can enjoy half-price bottles on Wednesdays, while tequila fans will find $5 margaritas and ranch waters on Tuesdays. Beer, seltzers, mocktails, and freshly squeezed lemonade round out the offerings.
A Welcoming Space to Eat, Drink, and Gather
Inside, Local Spot boasts a casual yet stylish dining room with plenty of seating, sports screens for gameday viewing, and a spacious bar area perfect for catching up with friends. Outside, the shaded patio with cheerful yellow chairs offers a breezy spot for brunch, dinner, or drinks.
“It’s going to be a lively atmosphere that is fun and simply just a place you want to be at,” added Sharifi. “It will be a place where everyone feels welcome”. Weekly themed nights and special events are on the horizon this fall—including movie nights, bourbon tastings, and football watch parties.

Local Spot is located at 6450 Cross Creek Bend Ln, Fulshear, TX 77441. The restaurant will be open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight, and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
