Local Martial Arts Master to Speak at Tomball Lions Club Meeting This Friday

June 21 2023

On Friday, June 23, Tomball Lions Club will welcome guest speaker Master Kris Lieder, Owner and Head Coach of All-Star Martial Arts in Cypress.

He has been training in Tae Kwon Do since 1998 and began teaching at All-Star Martial Arts in 2005, working as a full-time instructor since 2008.  The organization created Inspiring Possibilities, a non-profit, in 2010 after realizing the need for extracurricular activities for the special needs individuals within our community.  Master Lieder will discuss the program activities that Inspiring Possibilities has available for this special group of individuals.

The Tomball Lions Club meets from 12 Noon to 1:00 PM at Martha's Mexican Restaurant, located at 1025 Alma Street in Tomball on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month.  The public are always welcome to join the Tomball Lions Club meetings.

The Tomball Lions Club is a civic organization that was formed in April of 1982 by Tomball Judge Joe Mahan to help meet the needs of children in our school district on a case by case basis who were in need of glasses and could not afford them. Today, the Tomball Lions Club serves the community of Tomball in many ways, including the TEAM resale shop and the Tomagwa Free Health Clinic. The Tomball Lions Club also seeks special needs candidates to attend The Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville, which allows children with disabilities to take part in summer camp activities surrounded by other children with special needs. If you are interested in visiting the organization, please call 713-410-6542 or email info@tomballlionsclub.org for additional information.
