LCHS Bailadoras Invite Community to Step Into a ‘Winter Wonderland’
The Langham Creek High School Bailadoras are inviting the Cypress community to experience an afternoon of sparkle, rhythm, and holiday joy as they present their annual winter showcase, “Winter Wonderland,” on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the LCHS Auditorium.
This family-friendly dance event celebrates the season with performances by the Bailadoras and the Lobo Dance Department, bringing festive cheer and showcasing the talent, spirit, and tradition that defines this storied team. Tickets are available for $10 online or $12 at the door. Guests are encouraged to purchase in advance here.
Concessions will be available for purchase before the show, during intermission, and after the performance. Please note that all purchases at the event will be cashless.
This year’s “Winter Wonderland” performance is more than just a seasonal celebration—it also marks another chapter in the Bailadoras’ rich history. Founded on May 11, 1984, at Watkins Junior High School with just 27 charter members under Director Robin Cerny, the Bailadoras have grown into a well-known and respected team within Cypress-Fairbanks ISD and beyond.

From their early beginnings performing at football and basketball games to their present-day rigorous contest seasons, the Bailadoras have always represented Langham Creek with energy, excellence, and school pride. The team has evolved over the decades under the leadership of several directors, including Cathy Raffield, Mitzi Phillips, Jennifer Whitehead, Barbie Parker, Hannah Gassett, and Brynae Love-Young. Today, the team continues to flourish under the direction of Ms. Katherine McMullin, who began leading the Bailadoras during the 2024–25 school year.
The team’s year-round schedule includes not only performances but also training camps, leadership development, and a widely celebrated Spring Show that draws audiences from across the region. Dancers develop discipline, teamwork, and resilience—traits that shape them well beyond their high school years.
Community support plays a vital role in sustaining the Bailadoras’ legacy, and events like “Winter Wonderland” are both a celebration and a fundraiser that helps keep the program thriving. Families, neighbors, and alumni are encouraged to attend and enjoy the performance while supporting the next generation of Bailadoras.
