Lambeau’s Sports Bar in Cypress to Change Hands After Three Years of Local Success
In a heartfelt farewell, the owners of Lambeau’s Sports Bar in Cypress have announced they will be selling the beloved establishment to another family after three years of creating memories and building relationships within the community. The Bonneau family, who opened the sports bar in 2021, shared the news in a recent Facebook post, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support they’ve received during their time as owners.
Located at 13131 Louetta Road in Cypress, Lambeau’s quickly became a neighborhood favorite, offering a welcoming environment for locals to gather and enjoy good food, drinks, and sports. With 27 TVs, the bar ensured no one missed a play, whether it was the latest NFL game or an intense college basketball match. Known for its extensive menu featuring classic pub fare like burgers, wings, and hearty sandwiches, Lambeau’s also stood out for its creative cocktails, happy hour specials, and regular events like trivia nights and live music performances.
“We would like to thank everyone for what has been an extremely wonderful 3+ years,” the Bonneau family wrote. “We are immensely proud of what we’ve achieved with this space in becoming a local, family-owned spot people can enjoy in the community.” The bar quickly grew into more than just a place to watch games; it became a hub for neighborhood camaraderie, a spot where friendships were forged over a cold beer or a delicious meal.
However, despite the success, the Bonneaus have made the bittersweet decision to sell Lambeau’s to focus more on their family life and future endeavors. “There are so many who have helped us get to where we are over these few years, and we truly can’t thank everyone enough,” they wrote. The family expressed that the decision to move on wasn’t easy but was necessary to allow them to spend more time with their children and explore new opportunities.

As the Bonneaus prepare to pass the torch to another family, they are confident that the high standards they set for Lambeau’s will continue to be upheld. “We’re thrilled to pass the torch to another wonderful family dedicated to maintaining and improving upon the high standards we believe we’ve set,” they shared. Though the change is bittersweet, they are hopeful the new owners will carry the legacy of Lambeau’s forward while maintaining the community-focused atmosphere that made it so beloved.
The Bonneau family’s last day of ownership will be December 15, when the bar will close at 5 p.m. to celebrate the holidays and express their thanks to the team that helped make Lambeau’s a success. “The friendships and memories we have made over these years will always hold a special place in our hearts,” they wrote. The family encouraged locals to stop by during their final week of ownership to share one last drink or meal together before the changeover.
While it’s hard to say goodbye, the hope is that Lambeau’s will continue to serve as a gathering place for years to come, now under the stewardship of a new family ready to carry on its legacy.
