Lakes on Eldridge Seeks Candidates for Three HOA Board Seats Ahead of 2026 Election

Lakes on Eldridge  /   Katy / Fulshear
August 26 2026

For Lakes on Eldridge homeowners who have ever wanted a more direct role in decisions affecting their neighborhood, there is a timely opportunity to get involved.

The Lakes on Eldridge Community Association, Inc. has opened its 2026 Call for Candidates, with three positions on the Board of Directors set to be filled during this year’s Annual Meeting. Homeowners interested in running have until Monday, August 31, 2026, to submit their candidate information.

The election matters beyond simply filling seats. Board members help guide decisions involving Association operations, community priorities and the long-term stewardship of Lakes on Eldridge — responsibilities that can influence everything from neighborhood upkeep and amenities to the broader experience of living in the community.

How to Run for the Lakes on Eldridge Board of Directors

The candidate filing period opened August 10 and closes Monday, August 31.

Homeowners who would like to be considered for one of the three available Board positions should complete the 2026 Board of Directors Candidate Information Form and submit the requested information before the deadline.

The form asks candidates to provide basic contact information along with details about how long they have lived in Lakes on Eldridge, any committee service, a short biography and an explanation of why they would like to join the Board. Candidates are also asked to attach a current photo for use in election materials and the upcoming Meet the Candidates Forum.

Completed candidate information can be submitted to Angela.Morin@RISEAMG.com by the August 31 deadline. Homeowners can review the official Lakes on Eldridge 2026 Call for Candidates notice and accompanying Candidate Information Form for the complete filing information.

Meet the Candidates Forum Planned for September

Once candidate filing closes, Lakes on Eldridge plans to hold a Meet the Candidates Forum in September 2026.

For homeowners, the forum will provide an opportunity to learn more about the people seeking Board seats before voting begins. Candidates will have an opportunity to discuss their backgrounds and goals for Lakes on Eldridge, while residents will be able to ask questions and better understand how each candidate approaches community issues.

The Association will announce the date, time and other forum details separately.
