Kick Off 2026 with Purpose: Lakes on Eldridge Blood Drive Set for January 24
Lakes on Eldridge is beginning the new year with a powerful opportunity to give back. The first community event of 2026 will be a Blood Drive in partnership with theGulf Coast Blood, formerly named Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center, taking place on Saturday, January 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the LOE Clubhouse, hosted on a mobile Gulf Coast Blood Donor Coach.
This important community effort gives residents the chance to literally help save lives—right here in the Houston area.
Why Blood Donation Matters
According to the Gulf Coast Blood, someone needs blood every two seconds, and one whole blood donation can save up to three lives. Hospitals across the greater Houston region depend on community donors to provide blood for patients undergoing surgeries, cancer treatment, organ transplants, trauma care, and more.
