Katy Christian Ministries Celebrates 40 Years with a Beach-Themed Birthday Bash
Katy Christian Ministries (KCM), a renowned nonprofit that has been a pillar of the Katy community for four decades, is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a Beach Bash on June 24, 2024. The celebration, planned as a thanksgiving for the continued support from the community, will be held at Anthonie's Market Grill, located at 9108 Farm to Market 1489, Simonton, TX 77476, from 5:30 PM to 9 PM.
First established in 1984, KCM has spent the last four decades providing vital support to the Katy community. With a mission originally centered around helping families in financial crisis, over the years, KCM has expanded its services to include food pantries, domestic abuse support, and homeless prevention, among others. Through the support of the local community and beyond, the organization has been able to make an impactful difference for thousands of Katy area residents.
The beach-themed bash, much like the organization's mission, is rooted in community engagement and support. Attendees are encouraged to bring canned food donations for the KCM Food Pantry in exchange for a free raffle ticket.
Scheduled activities for the bash include games with prizes like Goodie Sand Buckets, participating in the Kendra Scott Pull, and buying Raffle Squares. The goal of these activities is not just to ensure an entertaining evening but also to further KCM's mission to serve the community.
Tickets for the event are priced at $125 each, with sponsorship opportunities starting at $500, providing an excellent way for the community and local businesses to directly contribute to the continued success of KCM. Funds raised from the event will go toward supporting the organization's year-round operations and program costs.
