It’s Going to Be a Hot Summer
This summer is projected to be very hot and dry. Please remember not to burn leaf litter and other yard debris. The City of Katy has a trash service for this type of rubbish, which is on Monday’s for your community.
When grilling, carefully watch over your coals and gas flames. Be sure to grill away from low hanging trees and shrubs.
When watering your grass, remember to water in the early morning or late evening. When you water during the day, much of the water evaporates and is not beneficial to your grass and plants. Mulch helps to keep the ground moist and reduce the need to water frequently.
